As a natural farmer & amateur banana collector, I can say this is likely the best location to witness & obtain … More diverse banana germplasm in North Florida and gather trialed knowledge of banana cultivation relevant to our area. The wife and I have also had some the baked goods and have been very pleased with them and their quality.

A lovely stop in on a hot summer day. Their coconut brownie was perfect and the staff was very generous with the drinks, even giving us extra water and ice. Will definitely be coming back next time I'm in Micanopy!

This is such a sweet small town shop where they bake everything in-store and have seasonal coffee and teas. It's a perfect, quiet place to meet with friends with the outdoor seating available on the front porch or back. Also the … More staff are so nice and helpful every time I go they make honest suggestions. They have a tiny shop inside with fun things like candles, stickers, and maps. It is always such a great vibe being there.

Cutest gem off the highway with such a home and personal touch. I got the seasonal drink: Rose cardamom tea latte was soo yum!! Vegan banana bread was also delicious. 100% would come back.

I’m a regular here. Mosswood is one of those family owned shops where you’d like to go every single day if you could. They keep the menu fresh but with the favorite standby items too (their famous huge brownies, for one)! I never miss a … More pimento cheese tart when they have them, or anything made from fresh fruit (much of which they grow in the onsite garden)!

What a treasure! Outstanding coffee. Try the guava butter cake. It will blow your mind! Quaint little private seating around back. Really great garden in the back with 20 varieties of banana trees. Old Florida at its best.

Nice big brownies and other pastries. They have organic coffee also. Only downside was lack of parking and service was a bit cold and she seemed annoyed.

Always love Mosswood. Have been visiting here for years and probably tried everything on the menu. Make sure to order pies here during the holidays as well as homemade toffee.
